National Coming Out Day Special: Dr Mark Rackley Chartered London Psychologist on How to Accept Your Sexuality, Big Brother, Mental Health and Finding Balance

It's National Coming Out Day and I'm joined by Chartered London Psychologist, Dr Mark Rackley to chat about how to accept your sexuality, Mark's time on Big Brother's Bit On The Side, mental health and finding balance.

Dr. Mark Rackley is a qualified counselling psychologist from Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland, with extensive experience in helping adults and adolescents navigate challenges affecting their physical, mental, and emotional health. With a background in working with students, addiction, and trauma survivors, Dr. Rackley spent over six years in the NHS in London, specialising in various mental health difficulties. Currently, he runs his own private practice, collaborating with a team of top medical professionals in the city, ensuring compassionate and competent care with the patient's well-being as the primary focus.

Dr Rackley's work on television includes being the resident psychologist for Big Brother and Celebrity Big Brother 2012 for Channel 5. He offered a psychological perspective on housemates’ behaviour on the ‘Big Brothers Bit on the Side‘ live show on Five Star on Sundays nights. He also commented on psychological matters for Good Morning Britain on ITV, and ‘The Edge’ for CNBC. For magazines, Dr Rackley works with independent journalists commenting on psychological matters for popular magazines such as GQ and Shortlist.

Harvey Morton is one of the brightest entrepreneurial lights in the UK, founding his own company in 2013. During this time, he juggled both his new work commitments and his education, completing his GCSE’s and A-Levels while getting his first company off the ground. He winds down by indulging in some of his favourite hobbies. Alongside trips to the cinema and seeing the latest concerts, Harvey also enjoys relaxing with friends and family, working out and getting acquainted with all the best new restaurants and cafes. He can often be found walking his beloved border collie, Nelly.

As a talented and ever-developing young professional, Harvey has the skills needed to work alongside teams of all sizes and draws on his own experience to help them tackle even the most complex of digital issues. He is adept at analytical thinking and problem solving, involving the client at each step of the way while fuelling continuous innovation.
